Today i met fellow blog admin Jamie around 11am. We then had lunch. Then headed up to Caister Road depot where Driver Trainer 60808 S659RNA was parked on the forecourt.
Nothing else was really there apart from ALX400 32065 W425SRP which was at the back of the depot receiving attention.
This morning saw the first time for a long time that an ALX400 was employed on the X1!
Here is a very clean 32063 W223XBD sat in Norwich Bus Sation earlier today.
She only done from Norwich to Yarmouth where she then ran light to the Caister Road depot where 33823 YX63LKN came to the rescue and replaced her.
we then thought of something to do, where i then suggested the Swift Coaches depot, we then got on a very bouncy 60813 S664RNA, where we then went into the Swift Depot.
We observed the Swift Condor and the Sandpiper parked at the back of the depot.
Here we have a close up of the Sandpiper.
At the back were the Eagle and an unnamed SJI8127 parked down the side.
Here we see the Guillemot also down the side.
I then suggested Gorleston Fire Station to visit ex FirstLowestoft Olympian 34156 P656UFB.
So thats what we done!
Here she is still looking pretty healthy!
Even from the back!
One thing that irritated me was how un positioned the wingmirrors were and the flap open on the right headlight.
Quite like this pic with the big tower thing next to it!
We then headed back up to Yarmouth on 60814 S665RNA.
Ex Jersey Dart 43859 EG52FHD still clings onto service with Yarmouth while sister 43864 EG52FGA sits out the back of Caister Road awaiting a new engine.
Sheldon then pulled into Market Gates in 34114 W434CWX on the 7 to Belton, so we boarded her down to Belton and back!
Here she is down at Belton still looking good as new!
My thanks to Jamie for a great day!
